About

The Venezuelan American Archives Foundation is a Florida-based organization created in 2020 with the main goal to document the whole experience, including history, testimonies and documents of the long and controversial binational 240-years-old relationship between Venezuela and the United States. The main emphasis of our mission is to document the highs and lows of the bi-national relationship, and promote the discussion of the current challenges both countries face, among them critical issues like Democracy, Freedom of Speech and the Migration crisis that are impacting the future of both countries.

Who do we serve? What do we need to fulfill?

We want to help educate Americans, Venezuelans and everyone else interested in critical issues like preserving Democracy, the mass-migration crisis, and the violation of the freedom of speech in Venezuela and the Western  Hemisphere. Also we want to study, document and understand how the shared history in the region can help us all face the coming challenges.

In order to carry out our mission, we need to produce an ample variety of contents, from articles, investigative pieces, reports, papers, educational material, photographs, videos, oral testimonies, podcasts, databases, document collections and documentaries and social media platforms, among others, to educate the public, with emphasis in the younger generations

What we need?

To reach our goals we need all kinds of support, both public and private. We are aiming to build a team of specialists to develop a robust platform of contents that will be available at no cost to the public.
